Welcome back to UI everyone! It's been a while since everything was smooth sailing, but I think we're finally back to that point again. With this change brings a new staff lineup, for the time being being just me and Eroc (eric12321), though in time we'll be rehiring again. There have also been a few changes to the site and its layout, and I'm sure you can spot the most obvious ones right away.

The biggest and most important change is UI's move away from RPG Maker and removing most references to it in the archives. All the resources, tutorials and games are staying though, so it's really just an image thing. If there's anything regarding these changes you want to suggest or have reverted whatever, feel free to use the Help & Dev forum. Also feel free to flood the spam I mean members forum.

Also, idle in the chat room! :D

Edit: I forgot that avatars were still broken. You'll need to fix that on your own when you get a chance.

wait just a jigga-diggin minute... I take it this isn't the "full" version that the facebook page eld made that was being promoted? Plz tell me that awesome changes and Eld's promise are to come... Oh, and welcome back to life ui. You are now the jesus of obscure gaming community sites.

Eddy didn't make any promises to the site, and in fact he was going to scale it back much farther than I did if he had of stayed with his original plan. But he didn't and gave it back to me, so that's why you still have UIv2.

oh, ok. and by promises i was reffering to bringing back ui and making changes (ie, not so much rpgmaker'ish) as well as the 25th deadline.

I'm thinking Koko's plan is still to deter away from RPG Maker a bit and span out to other indie game development, but I could be wrong. You'd have to ask him. I have nothing to do with the site anymore, I'm not even an administrator or moderator.

Really El D? WHY?! I remember the day you told me in the chat that you "secretly" got ownership of UI and said something along the lines of "I'd go broke and homeless before I'd ever let UI go under." I know it was quite a hyperbole, but I remember you being a huge patron of this humble site since you joined (and even after getting banned once). Whatever the deal is, I still wish you both luck. Just wondering why the let-go of staff rank and whatnot. I assume you will still frequent the site when able.

I don't see why you're making a fuss about it. It's not like Eddy ever really did anything with the site anyway.

No need to be saying blunt statements. I could argue about inactivity / lack of contribution relatively the same for a lot of other UI'ers including staff. I'm just curious as to what and why w/e exactly happened. If opens unwanted old wounds, then don't discuss it if willed. I just regard El D as a friend (like many ui members) that I also have some experiences in common with. He (and others) may not be a friend in the sense that I can go to my college and chill with, or go through neighborhood and do things or go places, but a friend that's more than just some chat acquaintance. That's regardless of his site administration and contributions or lack of. Just wondering if stuff is good and what's going on.
