Project Title: World Zero (demo)
21/12/12, everyone knew what those numbers meant, the end. Some people thought it was nothing but a silly joke, some thought it really is the end, some were hopping for it, and some didn't. On that day, when the clock struck twelve, all humans had the same thought in their minds: "I'm going to die…" Some of them were lucky enough to be wrong.
Cora Storm just turned 18 on this day, as she's waking up to be just a fine Wednesday morning, she receives from her mother a ring. This ring is a family heirloom, passed down from mother to daughter for 27 generations. After her mother gave her the ring, Cora left to meet up with her friends, so they'll celebrate her birthday while the Luna Market is still open. After arriving to the café it started, an immense earthquake began. Everyone in the café began to run outside. Suddenly, there was a flesh and Cora was knocked unconscious.
Sometime later, Cora regained conscious. As she looked around, she realized she is no longer at the café, no longer home. The walls and the floor were made up of rock, and it was unbelievably hot. At first, she thought she's in hell. But when she noticed a long staircase, she realized she was inside a volcano. She slowly approached the staircase and began climbing, hoping she'll get home.
When Cora finally reached to the end of the stairs, her heart sank. She found herself in the middle of the desert, all by herself. As she looked for any kind of a sign of life, she found fresh footprints underneath her. Relieved, she follows the footprints, hoping to find their owner and some answers.
