rpgmaker ABC poem

Once upon a summer's eve,
Browsing stuff for free,
I found a program just for me,
Its name is RPG.

When you need a little action
ABS is what you make
So don't copy other people's codes
For that will make you fake

Does a good battle system
Mean a good game?
It certainly seems that...
Without it, is your game lame?

Chipsets are what you need
To make those nifty maps.
Without this little tool,
Your game'll be crap.

The power to tune your hero groups
The power to form your enemy troops
To make abilities for pros and noobs
The database window you will use

Events are anything from speech to battles;
Without events, your game would be empty.
So thank those little helpful events,
They are the building blocks of an RPG.

Forks are a simple yet advanced tool
But sometimes they make newbies feel like a fool
Mastering them can cause your game to rule
And you could make all the game players drool

H stands for Hero,
Both sensitive and stoic,
It's their slaying monsters
what makes them heroic.

Game Disk is a really bad decision
Don't use it, it only hurts your vision
Use Winzip, Winrar or other **it instead
And now, my children, go to bed!

Items are what your hero needs
to aid him on his quest.
They will help him plant the seeds
to do his very best.

Japanese programmes suck,
Suck at being crap.
A Japenese game designer
Has the skills that you lack.
Confusing Japanese writing,
But amazing designs and ideas.
It's such a shame we don't know the language
Of our Japanese peers.

Kill kill, die die
The thirst for blood do not deny
Our hero's slashing is the best
any contenders, surly you jest.....

Lower, upper, event, there's so much going on,
Layers can help you get the job done.
You can create everything from a simple lawn,
To a magical temple on the sun!

Mapping is needed for good a good game
And sometimes mapping can be a pain
Still good mapping could bring you fame
But bad mapping will destroy your good name

NPC's can cause a lot of anger
when you try to make 'em.
Even if you get creative
you still have dopplegangers.

If you like to use an overlay then raise your fist!
Translucent pictures to create some fog or mist!
Overlays are cool fo sho to give a game a twist!
But use it badly players playing your game will be pissed!

pick a party starting place a party start position,
place people perceptively so players perceive precision,
put a persevering person providing a premonition,
of pretty faces in perilous places, thats victim provision

the quest of your hero wont go away
no your hero cant rest all day
for there is a monster to slay
Finish the quest and you will be on your way

RTP is not required,
but it's there for you to use.
It's okay to not use it,
some experts do refuse.

Switches confused the silly n00b in me,
with all my events I had no luck,
and even with the variable "light" I've seen,
my games still really suck.

Test your battles, test for bugs,
Test the muggings by those thugs,
Losers leave lag under the rugs,
so Test those slime and test those slugs!

Uploading is actually an easy feat.
You'll need to learn it to share your game.
Find a site, click upload, and find a seat.
Post a link and pray that your RPG isn't lame.

Variables are fun little tools,
you can use them for so much!
It's really quite a shame, however,
it's something most noobs won't touch

World wide warfare wedged into an RPG,
Wizards wishing windy weather on the enemy,
World wide mapping bringing wicked witches whacking,
with wooden weapons wielded and unshielded wrecklessly

To make your games better
X and Y can serve this matter
To make a puzzle for your ventures
Or a system which needs measures

Zzzzz is the sound you'll make,
when you've fallen asleep.
Staying up late for your RPG's sake
will really cause you to weep.
